Intel Extreme Masters is one of the most prestigious tournaments. For several months, gamers from around the world compete in a variety of qualifications to meet in the grand final. The prize pool is not a knock, but 8500 USD for the first place is certainly a good sum. The tournament involved twelve participants: seven from Europe, four from North America and one from Australia and Oceania.

There are rumors that the next (sixth) season games on the list of IEM runs Quake Live'a. This is an extra motivation for all players. Perhaps everyone would like for once to stand on the podium of this prestigious tournament, perhaps the last time. Will it be last year's champion of America - rapha? Perhaps one of the Europeans win the golden trophy this time? Such questions will surely be more. One can be sure. Emotions do not run out!
